Yes, a trained and responsible caretaker is present to help you. Housekeeping will be taken care of. If you require any additional help, you can ask the caretaker, and they may charge a small fee for the same. If you are satisfied with the service, please feel free to leave a tip. The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property.

There are 2 kitchens in the villa - 1 on the first floor and the other on the second floor, guests do not have access to both kitchens. Vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 600 per person, per meal and non-vegetarian meals at an additional cost of Rs. 750 per person, per meal. Guests are requested to adhere to the meal timings. Outside food is not allowed.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, spices and condiments, and a water purifier. Crockery and cutlery are available. Guests do not have access to the commercial kitchen.

When you arrive, you will find a set of fresh linen laid out for you. Linen is changed upon request to avoid wastage of water caused by unnecessary laundering. Please do let the caretaker know whenever you wish to have your bed sheets or towels changed!

If you wish to step out, here are a few of the activities that we recommend around here: One can choose day trips to the cantonment town of Kasauli and Chail or alternatively set off to explore numerous mountain hikes around the cottage at your own leisure. Barog enjoys the unique distinction of being mercifully removed from the mainstream, yet is within convenient proximity to some of the most celebrated hills towns of Himachal Pradesh.

No. We promptly report the use of drugs or any other type of illegal activity to the police, and they tend to offer an alternate accommodation that is not quite as pleasant as this lovely home. We would not recommend it at all!

There are a few steps leading up to the property, with rest stops in between. Assistance for the elderly can be provided, if needed. Mobile networks such as Jio/Airtel work fairly well here. Kindly shut all doors and windows during the evenings, especially during monsoons, given the presence of insects and bugs around. - Only smaller pets are allowed on prior request.
